SALES/SHIPPING POLICIES

RETURN POLICY:
We do our best to describe our items; however, we encourage you to ask all questions prior to purchasing as All Sales Are Final. There will be No refund or exchange of any product. There is no cancellation policy. Products are sold as is and cannot be returned for any reason.  Please bear in mind that these are previously owned items and are not sold as New perfect condition Items, they are sold in a “used as is” condition. Due to the age there may be some imperfections but those will be detailed to the best of our ability in the description.

ORDER PROCESSING POLICY:
You can purchase your item/s on our online web store.  After you submit your order, you will receive a confirmation that your order has been placed. For any furniture or larger item that is purchased in which shipping is not provided by Two Sisters Antiques, arrangements must be made by the buyer within 3 business days from the date of the order to have your item picked up and shipped by a carrier of your choice.  If these arrangements are not made, Two Sisters Antiques will not honor your purchase and your order will be canceled.

AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS:
Each item will only have 1 available for purchase.  We do our best to ensure the website is up to date and any item that has been previously sold is removed as quickly as possible.  There may be times when there is a delay in the update and the item you have purchased is no longer available.  If this is the case, you will receive notification and a full refund of your order. (This is the only case in which a refund will be provided on an ordered item.)

SALES TAX:
Sales taxes are applied to Massachusetts residents only.  The current sales tax rate is 6.25%.  Clothing is tax exempt up to $175.00 on an individual item.  Sales tax will be applied to any amount over that amount.

OUR SHIPPING POLICY ON ITEMS MAILED:
We do not ship internationally, we ship US only for items. Most items will be shipped by USPS, will be insured and in some cases a signature guarantee will be required. We may elect to ship by some other carrier and will notify you if that is the case. When using credit cards or Paypal, your item will be shipped within 5 business days from the date of purchase unless a longer time is requested by purchaser. When paying by bank check through PayPal, the item will be shipped 5 business days after the deposit has cleared the bank.  Your item will be received within 2 to 8 business days from the mailing date.

OUR SHIPPING POLICY ON IN STORE ORDER PICKUP::
We do not offer shipping for furniture and mirror orders.  There will be two options for in store pickup from our Medford, Ma store location, buyer arranged shipping or local pickup.  In store pickup options are available for these purchases only.  Any shipping of furniture and mirrors are the responsibility of the buyer. In store pickup options will also be available for all other products as well and will be the responsibility of the buyer if chosen.  For the in store pickup option on any orders, arrangements must be made between the buyer, their shipping company (if applicable) and Two Sisters Antiques to schedule an appropriate pickup time.  An in store pickup form will be sent to your email after the confirmation of your sale for you to complete and return back to us with the required details.  Your item must be picked up within 7 business days of your purchase unless otherwise approved by Two Sisters Antiques for a longer period of time.  In this case we will submit to you an approval email confirming the extended amount of time.  If no approval has been provided a $50.00 daily storage fee will be assessed until the item has been picked up.

OUR DAMAGE POLICY:
We take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage. If, despite our efforts, your order does arrive damaged, you must take the entire order (all contents and all original packing material) to your local U.S. Post Office to file a claim. The U.S. Post Office will send the claim to Two Sisters Antiques for processing. If an alternate shipping company is used please contact them directly. (Do not repack and do not mail the damaged items back to Two Sisters Antiques. This will void the U.S. Post Office insurance and we will not be able to give you a refund.)

PAYMENT METHOD:
We accept Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, MasterCard, Visa, Debit Card and Pay Pal. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.   For online purchases, PayPal has been designated as the method of payment.  You do not have to sign up for PayPal account unless you choose to pay by bank check, and in that case, a registered PayPal account must be used.
